There are a dynamic group of mature men and women at Queensway who dare to call themselves “Seniors” With so much life experience and vision they bring an valuable resource to the body of Christ. Our amazing leadership team of seniors plan for monthly lunches, trips, Bible Studies, computer classes, small group events, and ministry outreach to other seniors in our community.
Senior’s Bible Study
Join Ann Collins as she leads the study and discussion on Rejection and the Approval of Man in this interesting series.
Every Tuesday at 1:30pm in the prayer room.
Senior’s computer classes
Computer classes will be starting soon. This class is for seniors who would like to have basic instruction in “surfing” the internet, and sending and responding to emails. Class will be held in the computer lab; located in the youth centre, the portable building on the west side parking lot of the church.
Next Senior’s lunch will be on Saturday March 20th.
Join us for a great lunch at 12 noon in the Fellowship Hall.
Tickets can be purchased in the Lobby for $11.00.
We are also multi-generational. There is a unique opportunity to build relationship, as we “overflow” our wisdom, joy and hope, to reach out to our community. This ranges from children, youth, young adults, singles, families and anyone who wants to be involved. Come to our Seniors table in the lobby following both morning services to meet some of us.
