QUEENSWAY CATHEDRAL’S SHORT-TERM MISSIONS (STM)
Our STM department exists for the sole purpose of promoting, recruiting, equipping and sending teams of people to be witnesses for Jesus. To date, we have commissioned teams to Uganda, Ukraine, India and Jamaica. This year we are sending teams to Cuba, Ukraine and India.

URGESSA BIRU—Light of Hope Ministry, Africa
Light of Hope Ministry is an interdenominational ministry with a vision to proclaim the life transforming message of the Gospel to unreached Muslim communities in the Horn of Africa.

PETER & PATRICIA DEWIT—Thailand
Peter, Patricia and their family have been serving the Lord in Thailand since 1991. Peter gives oversight and leadership to the Thai field team and they are involved in church planting, youth leadership training and ChildCARE Plus.

FRONTIERS CANADA—Muslim World
Serves the Muslim world and believes that church planting is the key to reaching Muslims today. Their dedicated focus enables resources, experience and growing expertise to be poured into this key objective.

KEN & MARGE MACGOWAN—Kenya
Ken and Marge are missionaries in Africa. They are directing CREATE (Christian Religious Education Awareness for Teachers) which trains secular teachers to deliver Religious Education (that is, the Bible) in the school system in Kenya.

PETER & SANDRA MCINTOSH—Pacific Rim
Peter and Sandra are the Regional Directors of South East Asia and have been serving in Thailand since August 2005. They are responsible for supporting pastors and empowering the missionaries, training nationals and opening new fields.

MARIE MILLER—Foundations Ministries
Marie Miller devotes herself to full-time ministry as an itinerant Evangelist and a Missions facilitator under her ministry banner “Foundations Ministries Inc”. She responds to the Great Commission by participating in missions to reach the unreached and encourage the discouraged.

MASTER’S FOUNDATION—Ukraine
Master’s Foundation has been serving Ukraine for over 25 years. From its inception the primary purpose of Master’s is to produce children’s Bibles, literature, Bible studies and theological books. Master’s is also involved in the procurement and distribution of humanitarian aid to hundreds of orphaned children.

CARTLAND & MILDRED PALMER—Jamaica
The Palmers are working in Jamaica with Project Hope, developing a youth program to train young people in practical and employable trades and affect each life for the Kingdom of God.

CECELIA PALUCH—Zimbabwe
Cecelia coordinates the PAOZ National HIV & AIDS Program where she works with pastors and church leaders in Zimbabwe, helping them to establish HIV-related programs. She also administers the ChildCARE Plus sponsorship program. Cecelia has recently married a Zimbabwe national, Felix Chiriseri.

CHUCK PRICE—Reapers In The Rain
Led by the Holy Spirit, Chuck travels all around the world reaching the lost at any cost. He also comes alongside nations, pastors and missionaries in developing evangelistic leadership. God is doing amazing things in this ministry.

RAY & JULIE SIEBRING—Youth With A Mission
Ray and Julie, along with their three children, are missionaries in Afghanistan through YWAM in the United States. Ray mobilizes teams and individuals from churches to travel and do short-term outreaches, prayer journeys and vision trips to Afghanistan.

DEAN & WENDY SKINNER—Emmanuel Press, Africa
This mission printing house reaches over 3000 people per month with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People from all over Africa receive Gospel learning literature which disciple individuals.

ADRIAN & SHARON THOMAS—Every Day Ministry, Dominican Republic
Adrian and Sharon are co-founders of Every Day Ministries which reaches out to the unreached people of the Dominican Republic. They aim to strengthen the churches by equipping church leaders, their families and their communities through pastoral support, pastoral family support, local congregation aid, and community impact.

Providing food, safe shelter, and immigration and settlement assistance to refugees while sharing the Word of God.

BRAESIDE INNER-CITY CAMP
Providing an opportunity for inner-city kids to attend summer camp in a Christian environment.

CORNERSTONE
An outreach ministry providing food, love and hope to the poor in Toronto.

FOOD BANK
Providing weekly food, clothes, care and comfort to over 100 individuals in our local area.

HAVEN ON THE QUEENSWAY
An outreach centre that reaches out to the hurting people in our community seeking assistance through our food bank and support and recovery programs.

HOPEWHEELS
Reaching out to the downtown core with the love and compassion of Jesus.

LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL CHURCH
Located in the inner city of Toronto ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of those within the community, many of whom have been ravaged by the effects of poverty, addition and abuse.

LINDA BALDWIN
Linda is pastoring children in an Ethiopian church.

MISSIONFEST
A weekend when people come together to participate in mission-related experiences with colourful exhibits, keynote addresses and seminars.

MISSISSAUGA LIFE CENTRE
Providing assistance and support to teenagers and women experiencing unplanned or crisis pregnancies.

PHILIP AZIZ CENTRE
Providing practical, emotional and spiritual support to those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

PRISON MINISTRY
Works with the Chaplain of Mimico Minimum Security to host a monthly worship service.

SHEPHERD VILLAGE
A Christian retirement and long-term care facility meeting physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs of seniors.

SHOEBOX MINISTRY
Provides shoeboxes filled with toiletries to shelters for men and women.

SYLLAPS
A youth detention centre that receives monthly visits from QC volunteers.
