SMALL GROUPS D3 [DISCIPLES DEVELOPING DISCIPLES]
Queensway’s small groups are a great place to connect with others who share your love for God and have similar interests. We all want a place where everyone knows our name, a place where we’re a significant part of a caring community. As the church continues to grow larger, belonging to a small group becomes more significant. Jesus walked with multitudes, yet remained part of a close-knit small group. I want to be like Jesus and belonging to a small group helps me walk closer to HIM.
We wan to see lives transformed... Changed... irrevocably altered for
Christ. Becoming disciples (with the mind of Christ) … developing disciples to win hearts for Christ.
A Small Group is a nurturing place to:
Communicate the gospel of love
(Mark 13:10)
Carry one another’s burdens
(Galatians 6:2)
Encourage one another
(1 Thessalonians 4:18)
Offer hospitality to one another
(1 Peter 4:9)
Encourage one another on toward love and good deeds
(Hebrews 10:24)
Confront and forgive one another
(Matthew 5:23, 18:15; Colossians 3:13)
Please make the time to invest in a small group. The rewards are great and the dividends are eternal. Out of the deeper study of God’s word and sharing within your group you will begin to discover your unique ministry and be encouraged to serve others. We must evangelize the city of Toronto for Christ!
